"Emotionally Healthy Spirituality"
Church-wide Initiative (Lenten Study)
On February 26th, we will begin an 8-week, church-wide study on the theme "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality." The challenge is for everyone connected to the church to participate. The study will be offered during Sunday School, Wednesday Night Happenings or during other small group times. Beginning February 5th in the welcome center, sign-up sheets will be available for you to indicate the type of group and time frame in which you would like to participate in this study.
We are looking for individuals willing to host a small group or willing to facilitate a group for the 8-week period. These groups are to meet at other times than Sunday morning or Wednesday night to provide a variety of opportunities for people to participate in the study. If you would like to learn more about serving as a host or a small group facilitator for this 8-week study, contact Matt Berry. Or, you may express your interest in serving in one or both of these roles on the sign-up sheet that will be available beginning January 29th in the welcome center. Training for both facilitators and hosts will be provided.
The material we are using for the study is the material produced by Peter and Geri Scazzero, "Emotionally Healthy Spirituality." You will have the opportunity to sign-up for the book, the workbook and the devotional guide (the Daily Office) beginning February 5th.

For more than 30 years, CROPWALKERS have been walking with the world.
We walk with the world... in Vietnam, Cambodia, and other parts of Southeast Asia, where widespread flooding forced thousands of families to flee their homes and villages. CROPWALKERS walk so families can have food and shelter as they rebuild their homes and their lives.
We walk with the world... in Africa, Asia. South America, wherever women and chiidren must walk long distances to get water for their daily needs.
We walk with the world... in the U.S. with neighbors who walk to soup kitchens and food pantries to get food they need to survive.
We walk with the world...in Cambodia and Kosovo, where walking itself is dangerous, as thousands of landmines litter the countryside, an ever-present threat to children, families, and livestock.
We walk because they walk - because millions of people around the world walk every day for food, for shelter, for water, for survival. CROP WALK - walk or sponsor a walker. It makes a difference in our community and the world.
We will again participate in preparing theme baskets for the disaster relief auction. Information will be given to adult Sunday school classes and to those individuals who wish to participate.
Heifer Auction
Our congregation buys a heifer for the auction. Checks may be made to Lampeter Church, designated for heifer fund.
YWAM: Youth With A Mission
Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As Christians of God's kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present the whole Gospel for the whole man throughout the whole world.
