Whether you found us intentionally because someone recommended the site to you, or you are looking for a church home, or whether you stumbled across the site by accident, we are glad you are here. We are a “come as you are” kind of church that seeks to help everyone take their next steps with Jesus as we walk together to Know God, Love Others and Serve the World.

This site is like the front door to our ministry.  You can learn about some of our ministries, get the times for our services, see what is happening, and learn about our story.

We can't wait to meet you

Of course a church is much more than a website. So we don’t want you to stop here. Whether you're completely new to church or just haven't been to church for awhile, we'd love to see you.   We would enjoy having you come and visit with us.

We're glad you're here.

This year, Annual Conference will be held in Greensboro, North Carolina, June 29 – July 3. The theme for this year’s conference is “Carry the Light” and is based on John 1:1–5. Andy Murray will serve as moderator at this conference. He has been a beloved song writer and singer in the Church of the Brethren. Andy is the preacher for the opening worship service at Annual Conference and will be addressing the topic, “Lighting up our State.”

You may join the main worship services each evening and the business sessions each day through the webcast. Go to http://www.brethren.org/ac/2016/webcasts.html#bnw
Pastor John Hostetter and his wife, Beth, along with Nichole Whiteman, will be attending the conference. John and Nichole will serve as our delegates.
Annual Conference closes with morning worship on July 3. This year, through live video streaming we will join that service. We will have one service at 9:30 AM. There will be NO Sunday School for children, youth and adults.
The preacher for that morning is Eric Brubaker. He is from the Middle Creek Church of the Brethren here in Lancaster County. He has been serving there in the plural, non-salaried ministry for 27 years. He and his wife, Linda, live in Ephrata, PA, and have four school-aged children. His sermon title is, “A City on a Hill.” The biblical text that is the foundation for the message is, Matthew 5:14-16.

We invite you to remember the conference in prayer daily that Jesus Christ would truly be lifted up and that all decisions reflect his will for the church.

This service is designed for those people who appreciate the familiar, conventional corporate worship experience.

The first service is the more traditional of the two services we offer. The service starts with an organ prelude. Hymnals are provided for congregational singing of hymns, both familiar and unfamiliar. The message is regularly given by Pastor John Hostetter.
