Welcome

Whether you found us intentionally because someone recommended the site to you, or you are looking for a church home, or whether you stumbled across the site by accident, we are glad you are here. We are a “come as you are” kind of church that seeks to help everyone take their next steps with Jesus as we walk together to Know God, Love Others and Serve the World.

This site is like the front door to our ministry.  You can learn about some of our ministries, get the times for our services, see what is happening, and learn about our story.

We can't wait to meet you

Of course a church is much more than a website. So we don’t want you to stop here. Whether you're completely new to church or just haven't been to church for awhile, we'd love to see you.   We would enjoy having you come and visit with us.

We're glad you're here.

Athletes often spend more time practicing than playing in “real” games. Competent musicians work on the same piece over and over before playing it for others. Prospective nurses, teachers, plumbers, and electricians all spend much time learning, preparing, and practicing. Most jobs require training and practice. Leaders, too, need training and time and space to practice.

During practice, the team plays and learns together without the pressure to perform in a game. Practices can be fun, allowing participants to take themselves less seriously. Practice is a time and place to learn, sometimes through mistakes. We improve our skills and work toward a common purpose. The goal of the Leadership Retreat this year [Saturday, January 30, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the church] is to provide an opportunity for practicing skills and spiritual disciplines and experiencing teamwork. Hopefully, there will be laughter, and we will feel safe enough to be “real” and even make mistakes. Most importantly, we will work toward a common purpose: leading our congregation to Know God, Love Others, and Serve the World.

During this retreat, you will practice:\n• Prayer, especially focusing upon centering on God and praying for the church.
• Lectio Divina, listening for the Holy Spirit to speak to us individually and collectively through Scripture. [I Corinthians 9:24-27, Hebrews 12:1-3]
• Ladder of Integrity, building an environment where all feel safe enough to be open, honest, and direct and where disagreement and conflict are dealt with in a healthy manner.

Practice does not make perfect! Only God does that! Pray for His Will, His Guidance, and His Presence during this set-apart time of learning, experiencing, and practicing.

This service is designed for those people who appreciate the familiar, conventional corporate worship experience.

The first service is the more traditional of the two services we offer. The service starts with an organ prelude. Hymnals are provided for congregational singing of hymns, both familiar and unfamiliar. The message is regularly given by Pastor John Hostetter.

This service is designed for those people who appreciate an informal service filled with praise songs and modern accompaniment.

This is the more contemporary of the two services we offer. The sounds of acoustic, electric and bass guitars, drums, keyboard, piano, and various other instruments provide the music. The message is regularly given by Pastor John Hostetter.
